Recently, six departmants including Health Commission of Hebei Province and Industry and Information Technology Department of Hebei Province jointly announced the first “healthy enterprises”. There are 181 healthy enterprises in the province, covering various fields such as energy, steel and machinery manufacturing. Xingtai Steel is one of the first healthy enterprises, ranking among the 22 enterprises in Xingtai.
In recent years, Xingtai Steel has attached great importance to construct “healthy enterprise” and actively constructed health mechanism, developed health culture, created a healthy working environment, so as to continuously improve the workers' health. During the enterprise construction, Xingtai Steel has strengthened top-level design, set up a leading group for healthy enterprise construction, clarified the responsibilities, refined the implementation of tasks, constantly improved the management systems and formulated work plans to spare no effort to promote the construction of an occupational healthy enterprise.
Each secondary unit and relevant office carried out in-depth self-assessment and strictly implement the responsibilities. In addition, Xingtai Steel also mobilized the workers to promote advocacy of building a healthy enterprise and encourage the whole staff to care, concern and support the creation of it. The creation activities of “healthy enterprise” will further strengthen corporate responsibility on health management, promote enterprises to improve the management system, stimulate enterprises to carry out health work, enhance workers’ awareness of occupational health self-management, laying the foundation for protecting and promoting the physical and mental health of occupational groups, improving health and labor productivity.
